Classes

 

Ballet is the core of all dance and helps with all other sports and physical activity. Classes are provided from the age of 3 through to adults following the I.D.T.A. syllabus. Taught by professional ballet dancers / teachers with DBS enhanced certificates and child protection trained.

 

The building blocks of ballet technique are encouraged early on in our creative choreographed classes, they improve posture and poise, imagination and expression, and raise levels of confidence in a caring, positive, disciplined environment.

 

Tap lessons are available from the age of 3 upwards covering the I.D.T.A. syllabus. Tap is an expressive dance technique dealing with aspects of rhythm and stye.

This exciting genre of dance is fun, challenging and great for the mind and co-ordination.

 

Jazz classes cover a wide variety of styles within exercises specially created to improve; core strength, stamina and flexibility as well as style and performance skills. Students can study a mix of Lyrical Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop and Street Jazz, to assist the aims of the I.D.T.A syllabus.

All these styles put together under an umbrella create a true modern performer.

 

A class for aspiring young performers combining dance, drama and singing. Taught by 'WEST END INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS' covering repertoire from West End and Broadway Shows.

 

Drama is an important means of stimulating creativity, self-confidence, focus and social interaction.

 

Vocal exercises, script work and improvisation can all help develop a young performer's imagination and communication skills in which both real life and make believe situations can be explored in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Pupils also have the opportunity to study for LAMDA exams.
